You will generally need an Alabama saltwater fishing license.

Visiting from another state?
Nonresidents age 16+ generally need a license.

Under 16?
Alabama residents and nonresidents under 16 are exempt.

Alabama resident age 65+?
You are exempt from purchasing the saltwater license, although Saltwater Angler Registration requirements may still apply.
